UK Planet Tools’ Christmas Party, December 13, 2025

My first experience with indoor event photography came with plenty of challenges, particularly due to low light and multiple harsh lighting sources. The party hosted around 60 people over the course of five hours. Fortunately, it was for the company I’ve been working with for the past few years, which meant a relaxed atmosphere—everyone was supportive and patient with the constant presence of a camera.

I didn’t photograph the entire night, as my colleagues reminded me that I was also a guest and should enjoy the celebration after a year of hard work. That reminder made me more intentional and alert to meaningful moments. Instead of constantly shooting, I focused on the key moments and sessions of the evening, capturing them as best I could—while still being able to enjoy the party like any other employee.
